I have a dream.

~ Naval Singh

I have a dream.
A dream of an opportunity land
Where no one is denied of a worthy share of chance to struggle,
For struggle we must and
That too with equal gusto as we should celebrate after everystruggle we lost.
With that broken nose, that bleeding forehead, that throbbing swollen eye.
That reeling head, those cramps;
That gut wrenching pain of a knife heated in candle-light touchingarm muscles to remove abullet.
These mean that the person has pushed limits today,
Gone for the spectacular.

I have a dream.
A dream for that defiant look from eyes of vanquished.
For that guy will be winner tomorrow.
The mighty Thames can never be interrupted,
Not because the concrete has lost its strength
It is because water has realised its potential.

I have a dream.
I dream for happiness and satisfaction,
In the hearts of millions of people who are unfed, uncared
For they do not beg for alms, they beg for opportunities.

I have a dream.
I have a dream for that confetti slowly descending as
A band troupe plays national anthem far away.
That gold medal hanging proud on chest of an equally proud citizen;
Thoseglistening moist eyes of silver-haired parents in crowd appreciating
Who saw this dream beginning, building, taking wings and now shining over the horizon.

I have a dream.
A dream for that star providing light to millennia those follow.
Directing ships to safetyand providing support to grief stricken lovers at night.
The dream that brings life to homes,
Infuses that desire to push through limits.

But, are dreams enough? No says the mind for one must,
Work towards fulfilling a dream,
Though a hundred rocks, river bed and soil;
To consume that water stream do eagerly toil,
But, flow the stream must, as give birth to civilizations it must.

Civilizations that change the face of humanity and earth,
Civilizations that teach the principle of love and forgiveness,
Civilizations:
Of a naked fakir of truth and non-violence,
Of a humble servant of sincerity and effort;
Of a faithful soldier with watchful eyes,
Of a mayfly which lives the morning, but evening dies.

Mustn’t people live for a dream that they dreamt before,
And plan for such dreams tonight more?
For the people who live their lives as this,

Never find anything in this world amiss.

Teaching of a youth

Happy International Women's Day

Son  said …….
O mother  !
Old days are gone
Your ideology
Plain living high thinking
May not work today
Even religious leader don't follow your ideology
Moreover
I am not going to become politician (Neta jee )
O dear mother !
You should also change
Time is teaching
You should follow
High living and high thinking
And thus
A youth became
The teacher of time
To women .

My partner

Life is lived
With shrewdness
Not with innocence
And
By the time  I  realised
It was late
Shrewdness   became partner of someone's else
And
Innocence was killed
And
My
Life became standstill .

coloured jobs

We
Tie   bands
Round  our  neck
Gold     collar
White   collar
Blue      collar
To
Job and
Run  our society
Otherwise
Won't  we  become  animal
And
Eat each other .

Meet me

 NAVAL SINGH

Meet me at the place where time and space lose their identity;
where the rays of light curl through your flowing hairs,

And create a rainbow of hope and optimism;
Where your transient smiles escape in all dimensions,
They create life across planets.
Meet me where we can be one for eternity and with eternity;
Meet me when time is right for you,
For there I will have plenty and you will have none of that.

Your mere existence is the vital living force
That which runs through my veins, and
Makes me the insurmountable force of passion and zest;
Which when lost makes the hairs go silver.

My eyes glimmer with remembrances of the moments we shared together,
I have captured a few of those and hidden them deep in my heart.

I live in you, breathe in you and am an inseparable part of you,
your memory in my every guarded moment being a sole proxy of your encumbrances;
Those which your furtive glances at me shared unknowingly,

And which I replied through my silence.

A rainy day

phir megh aaye umad ghumad ke,
badra barse, jiyara tarse;
chhod chale the hum jin galiyon ko,
aaj wahin se hawaaon ka jhonka aaya hai;
saath apne mere bachpan ke kuch din bhi laya hai.

Aaj baith phakira karta hai hatheli ke sikkon ka hisaab
yaadon ka hisaab, rishton ka hisaab;
kuch mude tude noton ka hisaab,
taabeej mein bandhi pudiya mein nanhi mini ki ungliyon ki chhap ka hisaab;
beete hue zindagi ki thokron ka hisaab,
apnon ke apnapan ka hisaab;
rishton ki ahmiyat ka hisaab,

jhunjhla utha hai wo,
ye daulat bhi le lo, ye shohrat bhi le lo;
aur lelo mujhse tum meri jawani,
saath hi tum lelo meri zindgaani;
jab tumne le hi li hai meri wo kagaz ki kashti,
wo baarish ka paani.

Naval Singh ....NICE
